Key Job Responsibilities
:
Prepare tax calculations and keep accurate records for taxes, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, withholding tax and other taxes, as directed by the Tax Manager.
Complete and timely submit tax returns as directed by Tax Manager.
Initiate and implement timely payment of applicable taxes (and other obligatory payments to the budget) and check accounts with the tax authorities (лицевой счет) on whether tax payment was done & appropriate budget code was used.
Support timely tax accounting records of the Eurasia companies in ERP system. Ensure all assigned tax accounts are timely and accurately reconciled. Monitor and trace all unreconciled amounts. Prepare necessary journal entries for correction and/or clearance transactions on assigned accounts.
Maintain and use Corptax system for current and deferred taxes calculating and internal reporting purposes in accordance with US GAAP and statutory requirements. Handle all other external reporting on tax matters.
Provide advice and guidance on tax-related matters to internal stakeholders within Eurasia of various Eurasia transactions, agreements and business cases.
Act as initial point of contact with the local tax authorities as directed by Tax Manager. Handle information and audit requests from the government authorities.
Collect, organize and file all supporting documents and reference materials to support all tax accounting entries, tax returns and audits.
Monitor changes in Kazakhstan tax and accounting legislation and regulations.
Work on different projects in other areas as determined by management for personal development or other needs as may be necessary.
Identify opportunities for simplification and improvements of tax processes to improve the work efficiency.
Expatriates will not be considered.
