NES Fircroft have partnered with a Global Energy company who are seeking an experienced
Senior or Principal Electrical Engineer
to provide Australian standards and compliance expertise on a major power infrastructure project.
Working with local stakeholders and international engineering teams, you will provide guidance on Australian Standards, regulations and their relationship to IEC Standards.
About The Role:
Interpret Australian electrical standards, codes and regulations.
Identify differences between
AS/NZS and IEC Standards
.
Review supplier designs and documentation for Australian compliance.
Advise international engineering teams on Australian requirements and design practices.
Support technical queries across
MV/LV switchgear, AC/DC auxiliary systems, distribution boards and control panels
.
Liaise with customers, contractors and project stakeholders on technical matters.
About You:
Senior-level Electrical Engineer with strong Australian experience.
Strong knowledge of
AS/NZS and IEC Standards
.
Background in
transmission, substations, utilities or major infrastructure
.
Experience with
MV/LV systems, switchgear and auxiliary electrical systems
.
Strong design review and technical advisory capability.
RPEV/RPEng, RPEQ and/or CPEng
required.
Experience as a Principal Electrical Engineer, Technical Authority, Design Manager, Senior Engineer or Standards/Compliance Engineer would be highly regarded.
Melbourne is preferred
, however other Australian locations will be considered for the right candidate.
