Commercial Lead

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lead to support the delivery of a large-scale project. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will lead procurement, commercial and contract management activities across a range of project work packages. This is a senior position responsible for driving commercial outcomes, managing contract risk, supporting procurement activities and ensuring successful project delivery. Benefits Flexible working arrangements Opportunity to contribute to a significant capital project Exposure to a globally recognised resources business at the forefront of the energy transition industry Work alongside industry-leading professionals on high-profile projects Long-term career development opportunities Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement and contracting strategies Lead tendering, evaluation, negotiation and contract award processes Manage contracts from award through to completion Provide commercial and contractual advice to project stakeholders Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities Support budgeting, forecasting and cost control activities Manage contract variations, claims and contractor performance Build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders Prepare commercial reports and governance documentation Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures About You Experience in commercial, contracts or procurement roles within project-based environments Strong contract management and negotiation skills Experience managing procurement and tendering processes Knowledge of commercial risk management and contract administration Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded Experience supporting major projects within the resources, infrastructure, construction or industrial sectors will be advantageous We welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates from diverse backgrounds and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace.
