Global Trade Monitoring & KYC

Job Summary ConocoPhillips' Commercial business manages our worldwide commodity, supply, marketing, and trading needs. Working closely with Exploration, Production and Marketing, Commercial adds significant value by improving ConocoPhillips' supply chain management and growing its third-party global trading business. This is a trade monitoring, market analysis, and counterparty due diligence role at the heart of the Commercial business. You will turn daily trading data into insight — spotting patterns in trading behavior across changing market conditions, supporting KYC and sanctions-aware reviews of our counterparties, and helping the desk trade within global regulatory limits. We are looking for someone with genuine commodities/energy market curiosity and a risk mindset: a person who wants to understand why the market and our counterparties behave the way they do, not just how to build a model. The successful candidate thinks strategically, adapts as the environment shifts, and has a demonstrated drive to learn new subjects independently.
