Production Technician

A Production Technician is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining oil and gas wells and surface equipment to ensure safe, efficient production. They support daily field operations, troubleshoot issues, and help optimize production performance while following all safety and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor wells, facilities, and production equipment (separators, pumps, tanks, etc.) Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on equipment Troubleshoot and repair minor mechanical, electrical, or operational issues Record and report production data, pressures, rates, and anomalies Conduct well checks, fluid sampling, and meter readings to support production targets Ensure compliance with safety procedures, permits, and regulatory requirements Support interventions, startups, shutdowns, and field optimization efforts With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
