Shale & Tight Business Unit is accepting online applications for the position of IOC Specialist located in Minot, ND through August 25th, 2026, 11:59 p.m. (Central Standard Time). Position Overview The IOC Specialist is a 12-hour, night shift, 7/7 position responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing well and facility performance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The role provides real-time operational support to field teams through surveillance, alarm management, and technical problem solving while driving production efficiency and free cash flow. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: Monitor well and facility performance using digital surveillance tools Perform alarm management and response, including critical alarm follow-up Troubleshoot complex operational issues and lead repair and return-to-service workflows Own production and production efficiency and drive operational workflows to completion Collaborate with field teams and cross-functional partners to minimize downtime Communicate operational priorities and issues to stakeholders Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Lead or participate in start-of-shift and emergency response meetings Apply Human and Organizational Performance (HOP) principles through coaching and mentoring Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license Must be able to work a rotating 12-hour shift and overtime as required Preferred Qualifications 5 years current related oil and gas experience or related petrochemical industries Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of production and facility equipment Experience in production operations, facility surveillance, or IOC environments Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Proficiency with operational monitoring systems Effective communication and teamwork skills Demonstrated commitment to safety and operational excellence Basic knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) CMMS, SCADA and an aptitude for learning new software packages Capable of simultaneously performing multiple tasks with minimal supervision Ability to manage time effectively and work with minimal supervision Additional Information This position supports permitted work, incident response, and seasonal operational response activities in alignment with company policies and safety expectations. IMPORTANT NOTE: As part of the application process, you will be required to take an assessment that measures aptitude and work styles. You will be immediately directed to the testing portal upon submittal of your application, at which point you will have 72 hours (about 3 days) to complete the online assessment. Once complete, your assessment score will be valid for 180 days. Should you re-apply for another Job Requisition within this timeframe that includes the Operations , you will be required to complete the application process and then click on the assessment link. This will resubmit your previous results. Relocation Options: Relocation may be considered. International Considerations: Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
