Robotic Welding Programmer & Operator

PSJ fabrications, a Wood subsidiary company are recruiting for a Robotic Welding Programmer & Operator to join our Sheet Metal Fabrication team based in Bedford. The Role The position requires an experienced Robot Welding Programmer to operate, develop and optimise our robotic welding systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking existing robotic welding programmes and putting components through production, while also adjusting and developing the process as required. The role requires a hands-on welder who can confidently operate and programme robotic welding equipment, troubleshoot and refine existing programmes, and ensure components are produced to the required quality and specification. Our Clients and Projects PSJ Fabrications are a subsidiary of Wood specialising in the fabrication of sheet metals from simple brackets to bespoke enclosures and larger fabrication projects. Our 23,000 sq. feet facility in Bedford is host to “cutting edge” machinery with capabilities including; Fibre Optic Laser cutting, Brake press forming and Micro bore Welding. Accredited to ISO 9001, ISO 3834 and EN1090-1 we have the ability to perform bespoke manufacturing as well as high volume manufacturing. We support clients across a range of different industries from commercial to highly regulated such as Nuclear and defence.
