Application Service Manager
Contract period: 01.09.2026 - 31.12.2027
Location: Oslo, Stavanger or Trondheim
Main tasks:
Manage the life cycle of SAP applications, including maintenance, enhancements, and upgrades.
Plan and coordinate application-related activities and ensure effective prioritisation of tasks.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to define and implement solutions.
Support delivery of initiatives and ensure alignment with agreed scope and time lines.
Contribute to operational support, including coordination of incidents, service requests, and follow-up activities.
Support in maintaining roles and authorisations, ensuring appropriate access management and compliance with security requirements.
Participate in and support structured change governance processes, ensuring that changes are prepared, reviewed, and communicated effectively.
Ensure clear communication of system changes, releases, and updates to relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery.
Maintain visibility of activities, dependencies, and risks across the application landscape.
Qualifications:
Relevant higher education within IT, business, or similar. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
Proven experience with SAP application management and understanding of key SAP modules.
Strong understanding of IT landscapes, including system integration, dependencies, and end-to-end processes.
Ability to navigate complex system environments and understand how applications interact across the IT landscape.
Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders.
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage.
Strong communication skills in English and preferably Norwegian.
