Key Responsibilities
Provide effective supervision and direction to ensure the team successfully delivers the daily maintenance and operational schedule.
Conduct regular field leadership activities and maintain a strong visible presence across the work area.
Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with weekly plans, operational requirements and relevant procedures.
Coordinate electrical activities to minimise disruption to the supply of power to the transmission network.
Record field leadership interactions, workplace hazards and corrective actions within the applicable business management system.
Manage onsite contractors and ensure compliance with company requirements, industry standards and legislative obligations.
Monitor team performance against key performance indicators and SAP maintenance strategies.
Support effective work planning and maintenance execution to reduce unplanned and reactive maintenance.
Lead by example and ensure all work is completed safely, ethically and in compliance with applicable requirements.
Identify, manage and escalate workplace incidents within the required timeframes.
Review and sign off electrical installations completed by the team as part of the appointed nominee responsibilities.
