My client, a large Specialty Chemicals Company, is urgently seeking Processors for their chemical plant in Tucson, AZ. Contract – 1 year (extend or turn direct) Location – Tucson, AZ Schedule – Mon-Fri 7am - 7:30pm / 7pm - 3:30am - Mix of day and nights Start – ASAP Responsibilities: Under the direction of Shift Supervisor, operates plant equipment including filters, kilns, ball mills, vibro mills, jet mills, screens, compressors, generators, wastewater treatment system, mobile equipment, boilers, as well as other required processing procedures and equipment Performs assigned material handling, record keeping, and measurement tasks Accurately logs data, collects samples, and corrects minor operational irregularities Executes instructions for special runs requiring alternate processing conditions Operate the plant equipment in a manner to ensure product and process quality Requirements: High School Diploma 1-2 years of experience working in a chemical plant or some type of industrial/manufacturing environment Someone who has worked with different types of equipment – has some type of mechanical aptitude Previous forklift experience Attention to detail, good teamwork, good attendance record Someone who has experience in a very manual job – loading, unloading These personnel will be operating forklifts, cranes – any PLC experience is preferred These positions will be interfacing with the lab – need to have data entry experience Interview Process: On-site panel interview preferred With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
