We are currently recruiting Telecommunication Technicians x2 to support Woodside's Digital Field Services (DFS) team, this role will be based in Perth HQ & support Woodside’s onshore & offshore facilities.
- The role of the Telecommunications Technician is to execute the delivery of planned maintenance, emergent break-fix and project improvement activities in the support of Digital IT Operations Communications service delivery excellence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Providing telecommunications Subject Matter Expertise for the Woodside telecommunications Infrastructure
Delivering the planning, resourcing, procurement & support of Communications Campaign Maintenance activities
Assisting in the pre and post execution of Communications Project support delivery
Executing and coordinating planned maintenance activities along with frontline support for Break-fix
Being a contributing party in execution of Communication Maintenance services as per SAP PM Processes and procedures
Execution of on-call roster to facilitate break-fix support for all Operational Facilities
Providing maintenance and break-fix support using both SAP PM and SM9
Managing change activities in compliance with Digital and Production Processes
Identifying and assessing opportunities for the implementation of new or improved business processes and present recommendations to relevant managers.
Ensuring the delivery of safety in operations and execution of maintenance and break fix repairs
Ensuring maintenance support is provided consistently within meaningful Service Levels
Skills & Experience:
5+ years’ Technician experience in the provision of Operational Communications services (Civil, Commercial, and Armed Forces).
Sound commercial acumen for contractor management
Demonstrated solid foundation analytical problem-solving techniques.
Performance testing, Maintenance and rectification of telecommunications equipment including but not limited to:
CCTV , Analogue Radio, Consoles, Tetra, PAGA, RADAR, Aerial and Antenna combination systems, DC Power systemSCADA Systems
Good working knowledge of the following systems and processes are also essential for the incumbent to meet the requirements of the role:
Quality Assurance / Control and configuration management
Contract Management Processes
Process Safety Facilities Performance Standards
Maintenance Management System (SAP-PM)
Rope Rescue / Working at heights
Elevated Working Platform
WA Restricted Electrical Licence
Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA)
TBOSIET, CAEBS
MISC
LROCP, AROC
WA driver’s License
Radiation Awareness (EME)
