What does the job involve? Being responsible for maintaining the technical integrity, reliability, and lifecycle performance of mechanical and structural systems across offshore wind farm assets. This includes evaluation of equipment and structural condition, management of integrity and reliability programs, support of failure investigations, maintenance optimisation activities, and lifecycle management of critical mechanical and structural components. You will also support major repair and replacement campaigns, engineering modifications, inspection programs, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at maximising asset reliability, structural integrity, safety, and operational performance. What will my tasks be? Within this position, your key tasks will be to: Provide technical integrity support for mechanical and structural systems across the wind farm. Monitor the reliability, condition, and fitness-for-service of critical mechanical equipment and structural assets. Lead investigations into equipment failures, structural defects, degradation mechanisms, and recurring issues. Support major repair, replacement, strengthening, and life extension campaigns for mechanical and structural assets. Develop and optimise maintenance, inspection, and reliability strategies for mechanical and structural systems. Review technical recommendations, engineering modifications, concessions, and management of change activities. Support lifecycle management, spare parts strategies, and long-term asset integrity planning. Identify and implement improvements to enhance asset reliability, structural integrity, safety, and operational performance. Support the process of asset handover from construction and commissioning phase into operations. Here's what we expect from you: At Equinor, there are some overall qualities we regard as essential. And for this specific position, we are also looking for: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. 3 years’ experience in offshore wind/offshore structures/marine assets/rotating machinery, or heavy industrial facilities. Knowledge of mechanical reliability, structural integrity, and maintenance engineering principles. Familiarity with mechanical equipment such as welded structures, bolted connections, corrosion protection systems, gearboxes, bearings and hydraulic systems. Experience performing root cause analysis, failure investigations, and structural assessments. Understanding of asset lifecycle management, inspection programs, and integrity management processes. Knowledge of offshore structural degradation mechanisms, including fatigue, corrosion, erosion, and environmental loading. Strong analytical, technical problem-solving, and risk-based decision-making skills. Fluency in English language is a requirement. Polish language skills are beneficial. What can we offer you?
