About the Role We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager on the contract delivery side of the business, with the occasional opportunity to support new bid activities. As Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing commercial oversight across a varied portfolio of contracts, working closely with operational and project delivery teams. Role Responsibilities Develop and implement commercial strategies that support business objectives and revenue growth. Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and customer value. Manage commercial risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are in place. Build and maintain strong customer and internal stakeholder relationships. Ensure contractual obligations are clearly understood and effectively managed. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure successful contract delivery including providing commercial guidance to project teams. Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost control, forecasting and support business planning and budgeting activities. Ensure all commercial activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Support audit requirements and risk management processes. Control and manage variations, change events, and contract administration processes including development of pricing. Support continuous improvement of commercial processes and governance frameworks. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in a Commercial or Contracts Manager role including managing change. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence project outcomes. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong negotiation, commercial reporting and cost management skills. Experience supporting operational teams. High attention to detail with strong analytical capability. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Experience in risk management. Advanced skills across the Microsoft suite, in particular Excel and Word. Location The role is hybrid where 3 days per week will be spent in KBR and / or client offices across London, Surrey and Wiltshire. Security Requirements SC Clearance must already be held or able to be achieved. Due to the secure nature of this work, restrictions in relation to UK residency and nationality will apply. Belong.
