About the role: This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to join the agile, fast-paced and exciting integrated team that Advises partners on opportunities for Production Management, Depletion Management, and Area Development Planning to improve production and recovery from this field. The successful candidate will lead core activities within an integrated group of bp and partner subsurface staff and constantly collaborating with other departments and the India Shareholding team to define and progress the implementation of the short and long-term plans. What You will Deliver: As part of a multi-disciplinary team play an advisory role on the following: Supporting the implementation of appropriate Subsurface discipline workflows, digital tools, processes, and data standards. Advise on all Petrophysical aspects of Open/Cased hole operations, interpretation, data integration, surveillance planning and delivery, well work planning and stimulation. Influence the Area Development plan, inclusive of Integrated Subsurface Description, Surveillance Plan, Depletion Plan, Technology Plan. Drive knowledge sharing and continuous improvement between teams. Proposes ongoing subsurface themes to identify growth projects and technologies necessary to grow production in the medium and long term. Influence client to action on BP’s proposals to add production and value (increasing performance in all areas of the agreement) Create a culture of trust, inclusion, collaboration, and sustainable performance delivery. Support bp Country and Functional management as required including providing input into management committee presentations/reports and presentations to Senior Management stakeholders. Work with broader bp Team and management to maximize performance in all areas of the agreement. What you will need to be successful : Must have educational qualifications: Degree or equivalent experience in Physics or equivalent program (Petrophysics/Geology/Earth Science/Engineering) from an Accredited University. Must have experiences/skills (To be hired with): Proven ability to support teams to effectively integrate diverse subsurface discipline inputs and balance long and short-term drivers to deliver value and strategic objectives. Experience in Subsurface Appraisal, Depletion Planning, New Well Delivery and Major Projects (Including Brown Field Development with 100’s of wells). Strong familiarity with the importance of a technically thorough Integrated Subsurface Description to underpin reservoir management and depletion planning activities.. Strong understanding of cased and open hole Petrophysics data, up to date with modern tool suites and methods. Strong experience in designing and delivering Petrophysics data acquisition plans, related to depletion Plan objectives and socialised and justified across multiple teams and departments. Knowledge of wellwork and interventions procedures and operations, including stimulation. Strong experience in developing a surveillance strategy to support wellwork options and reservoir management, integrated with multiple disciplines and departments Strong knowledge of cased hole operations, tools, interpretation methods and products Good knowledge in developing of a fit for purpose rock characterization model to improve volumetric assessment and predict well rate and field performance and assist in perforation strategies Strong familiarity with the importance of a technically thorough Integrated Subsurface Description to underpin reservoir management and depletion planning activities. Ability to manage multiple activities and to quickly respond to changing business priorities and make value and risk-based prioritization decisions. Experience in surveillance planning and interpretation for risk management and resource progression Experience working in international JV’s and complex multicultural environments is preferred.
