Partnering with the best As a Manufacturing Experienced Professional – Production Planning & Scheduling, you are supporting production and materials planning activities by translating demand forecasts into executable orders and supply plans. You are partnering with Sales, Operations, AMO, and Supply Chain teams to ensure customer demand is met while optimizing inventory levels, asset utilization, and operational efficiency. You are analyzing demand patterns, managing inventory strategies, and driving continuous improvements that enhance supply chain performance. As a Manufacturing Experienced Professional – Production Planning & Scheduling, you are being responsible for: Working with regional Sales and Operations teams to develop regional and global forecasts across a 12–18-month planning horizon. Collaborating with Sales and Operations teams to convert demand plans into physical orders and executable production requirements. Understanding business trends and market opportunities and evaluating their impact on demand forecasts. Analyzing incoming demand and identifying order exceptions, inventory opportunities, and alignment with product rationalization strategies. Planning and scheduling order timelines that support customer requirements while minimizing inventory and logistics costs. Working with Product Line, Sales, and Service Delivery teams to prioritize order delivery dates, including pull-ins and pushouts. Performing material management analysis including demand forecasting, inventory consumption trends, aging inventory reviews, aging purchase order reviews, in-transit materials analysis, and safety stock evaluations. Developing and implementing inventory stocking strategies to optimize inventory performance. Monitoring safety stock levels, global inventory levels, and aging inventory while collaborating with manufacturing plants and regional teams on corrective actions. Working closely with the AMO organization to ensure spare parts and asset requirements are accurately captured. Ensuring new assets, repaired assets, and spare parts requirements are incorporated into the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Supporting continuous improvement projects focused on maximizing operational value and supply chain performance. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have an associate’s degree in supply chain or a related field, or equivalent experience with 2+ years of relevant experience. Have experience in order management, inventory optimization, inventory management, asset utilization, and asset management. Have a basic understanding of SAP and MRP functionality. Have the ability to work with and influence stakeholders across multiple functions. Have strong execution capabilities with a sense of urgency and accountability.
