We are currently recruiting a
Commissioning Lead
for a Global Energy EPC on an initial 6-month contract working on a major onshore project in
Karratha, WA.
This role will be a 2 week on, 1 week off roster (10.5 hr days)
Position Purpose:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective execution of all activities related to commissioning for onshore process plant as directed by the Site Manager Promote and drive QHSE awareness, safe working and safe behaviour during onshore commissioning campaign Managing multi-discipline commissioning execution across all disciplines – E&I, mechanical, piping, controls and Process.
Ensure all preparation/readiness is completed for commissioning scopes for the onshore implementation of the Brownfield Project:
Scope definition, strategy and procedure development
Detailed plans including site management plans and commissioning logic flowcharts
Preparation of commissioning plan logic linked to project milestones
Definition and Implementation of onshore commissioning strategy related to commissioning, start-up and handover to operations.
Ensures the commissioning process, preparation and execution is managed, planned, documented, resourced whilst meeting technical requirements.
Liaise and co-ordinate with the Project team including engineering, construction, completions and project controls along with stakeholders on priorities, ensuring Project schedule is achieved.
Identify and forecast risks and opportunities for the project.
Skills & experience:
Tertiary or relevant trade qualification
Strong onshore plant brownfields construction & commissioning background
Track record of Australian onshore construction projects
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in relevant oil and gas engineering discipline in onshore commissioning with at least 10 years focused on construction engineering
