Partner with the best You will be part of the Data Science team, contributing to the development, implementation, and validation of analytical models and machine learning solutions to support forecasting, scenario modelling, and optimization activities. You will contribute to the creation of analytics and digital products while helping to ensure the quality and reliability of deliverables. In this role, you will be responsible for: Collaborate with system engineers, diagnostic engineers, and domain experts to understand business needs and support the development of analytics solutions. Apply statistical and machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, Bayesian methods, and deep learning) under the guidance of experienced team members. Support the development, testing, and validation of predictive models for use cases such as equipment health monitoring and operational analytics. Contribute to the creation and maintenance of analytics tools for scenario modelling, forecasting, and back casting. Assist in monitoring model performance and ensuring quality, reliability, and transparency of analytics Support the implementation and maintenance of machine learning pipelines and contribute to Generative AI and LLM prototyping activities. Follow coding standards and software development with the best practices to deliver high-quality solutions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing analytics solutions, digital products, and development processes. Learn and grow through hands-on experience, training, and collaboration with experienced data scientists and engineers. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have Master’s, or PhD degree from a recognized university in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related disciplines. Have knowledge in time series modeling, NLP, and agentic AI frameworks. Have programming skills in Python and experience with ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Be familiar with databases, SQL, and large dataset management. Have basic knowledge of predictive maintenance, prognostics and asset health management methodologies. Have basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and the fundamentals of MLOps and machine learning lifecycle management. Have a basic knowledge of general-purpose programming language (e.g., Python, R, Java, or MATLAB). Have good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment. Have good communication and presentation skills. Be fluent both in English and/or in Italian (oral and written) and hold an EU passport or work permit Desired Requirements: Exposure to industrial equipment, rotating machinery or energy systems is considered a plus. Previous exposure to digital technologies, sensor data analytics, or real-time monitoring systems is considered a plus. Exposure to anomaly detection, fault diagnostics and condition monitoring techniques is considered a plus.
