NES Fircroft is supporting a major project seeking an experienced FPSO Lead Planning Engineer to oversee planning, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting activities throughout the project lifecycle.
This is an opportunity to join a large-scale offshore development working within an international and multicultural project environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining schedule integrity, supporting project decision-making, and coordinating planning activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the integrated project schedule.
Define and manage the project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Review, validate, and integrate contractor schedules.
Monitor project progress and identify deviations from plan.
Produce planning reports, dashboards, and KPI metrics.
Support forecasting, schedule simulations, and scenario analysis.
Coordinate planning activities across engineering, cost control, contracts, and project teams.
Support risk assessments and change management processes.
Mentor and supervise planning personnel.
What We're Looking For
Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of planning and scheduling experience within oil & gas projects.
Previous FPSO or offshore development experience.
Strong knowledge of EPSCC project execution.
Advanced Primavera P6 and scheduling expertise.
Experience integrating contractor schedules into master project plans.
Strong reporting, forecasting, and analytical capabilities.
Proven ability to lead planning activities and support multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
