Key Requirements
Lead and manage all on-site material handling activities, including receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, inventory control, and issuance of materials.
Establish and implement material management procedures to ensure efficient tracking, storage, movement, and handover of project materials.
Coordinate closely with logistics teams, suppliers, contractors, and site construction teams to align material deliveries with project schedules.
Monitor material availability and proactively identify, investigate, and resolve material shortages, damages, or delivery discrepancies.
Ensure all incoming materials are properly inspected, documented, and recorded in accordance with project requirements and quality standards.
Develop and maintain inventory control systems, material status reports, and accurate site records.
Manage storage facilities and preservation activities to ensure materials and equipment remain in suitable condition prior to installation.
Oversee the handling and storage of spare parts, consumables, and commissioning materials throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements, local regulations, and safe material handling practices.
Supervise and coordinate material handling personnel, warehouse staff, and subcontractors where required.
Provide regular reporting on material receipt status, inventory levels, key risks, and supply chain issues to project management teams.
Support the setup of site material handling infrastructure, storage areas, and material control processes.
Participate in resolving logistics, material control, and operational challenges to support overall project execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in material handling, warehouse management, logistics, or site material control within large-scale industrial, energy, infrastructure, EPC, oil & gas, power, or LNG projects.
Demonstrated experience managing site material control activities from receipt through installation and project handover.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, material preservation, and document control processes.
Experience working in construction site environments and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
Understanding of quality assurance requirements and material inspection processes.
Knowledge of HSE standards and safe material handling practices within industrial project environments.
Proven leadership experience managing site-based teams and subcontractors.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Fluent Vietnamese and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
