Plant Inspector

Job Title: Plant Inspector Job Purpose Execute inspection activities during EPC and start-up phases to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facilities through early defect detection and compliance with established standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct visual and NDT inspections on equipment such as vessels, piping, heat exchangers, and lifting equipment. Perform integrity assessments and prepare inspection reports using inspection systems/software. Monitor maintenance and project activities to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and procedures. Identify defects, raise inspection recommendations, and track corrective actions to completion. Support and supervise NDT testing activities (UT, MT, PT, RT, and advanced methods). Maintain inspection tools, equipment, and accurate records in system databases. Coordinate with contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and compliance. Qualifications & Experience Diploma/HND in Engineering or related field. Minimum 4 years of inspection experience in industrial/oil & gas environment. Certification in API 510/570 (API 653 preferred). Skills Knowledge of inspection techniques and NDT methods. Familiarity with RBI, corrosion, and damage mechanisms. Good reporting, communication, and coordination skills. Basic knowledge of plant processes and international codes.
