Orion Group is seeking a
Project Manager with experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
to support high-impact, personalized (1:1) marketing programs within a fast-paced Digital Lab environment for our pharmaceutical client in Mettawa, IL.
In this role, you will lead the
end-to-end execution of CRM and digital marketing initiatives
, partnering with cross-functional teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality, data-driven campaigns. This is a highly visible role requiring strong organization, stakeholder management, and the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously.
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage
day-to-day execution of CRM and 1:1 marketing programs
using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Lead multiple
digital marketing projects simultaneously
, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met
Develop and maintain
project plans, timelines, status reports, and documentation
Facilitate
weekly status meetings
and provide updates to stakeholders across marketing, analytics, and technical teams
Partner with
internal teams and external agencies
to ensure seamless campaign execution
Translate
business requirements into actionable plans
for technical and delivery teams
Ensure
data and campaign assets are accurately loaded
into marketing platforms
Monitor campaign performance and identify
opportunities for optimization and improvement
Manage
risks, dependencies, and change requests
, proactively addressing issues to keep projects on track
Drive
process improvements, standardization, and operational efficiency
across campaigns
What You Bring (Required)
3+ years of
project management experience
, ideally in digital marketing or CRM environments
Hands-on experience with
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
Experience managing
multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Understanding of
CRM, email marketing, database marketing, and 1:1 personalization strategies
Strong ability to
gather business requirements and translate them into execution plans
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a
digital marketing, agency, or consulting environment
Familiarity with
campaign performance analysis and optimization
Experience with
Smartsheet or similar project management tools
Background working with
data-driven marketing programs or customer engagement platforms
