At KBR, we do things that matter. Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner. This role ensures compliance with company policies and internal controls while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders. The analyst will reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and support month-end close activities. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and ERP systems Responsibilities: Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring proper approvals and coding. Perform three-way matching & two-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices. Monitor and manage the accounts payable inbox, responding to vendor and internal inquiries promptly. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding issues. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reporting. Maintain accurate and organized AP records and documentation in compliance with company policies and audit requirements. Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation. Ensure timely processing of payments via checks, ACH, or wire transfers. Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other departments to resolve invoice and payment-related issues. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to automation initiatives. Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 2– 5years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance/accounting role. Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Costpoint, Oracle, MSD etc.,). Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications specifically: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word Preferred Qualifications Education, Experience, & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)(B.COM, M.COM, MBA(Finance)) and any professional accounting course.
