Project Lead Civil Design

Lead the development and delivery of annual wall raise design packages for a major residue management facility. Provide technical leadership across civil, geotechnical, earthworks and water management disciplines. Manage external engineering consultants, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality outcomes are achieved. Oversee design assurance, technical governance and independent verification processes. Develop and maintain long-term infrastructure and wall raise strategies. Coordinate geotechnical investigations, technical studies and specialist engineering inputs. Ensure designs are safe, compliant, practical and aligned with operational requirements. Support business case development, capital planning and funding submissions. Identify and manage technical risks, opportunities and change control activities. Manage design schedules, budgets and performance reporting. Work closely with operations, engineering, project delivery and water management teams. Provide technical recommendations and updates to senior stakeholders and governance forums. Drive continuous improvement across design, planning and asset management processes.
