Responsibilities: The successful candidate will manage one or two main project packages (such as FPSO, SURF, SPS, PMT) and collaborate closely with the Lead Cost Engineer on broader cost activities. Responsibilities include maintaining phased forecast profiles based on Value of Work Done (VOWD), leading monthly review meetings, delivering contract-level accrual inputs, and developing comprehensive monthly cost reports with variance analysis. The role requires rigorous change control management using Cleopatra software and coordination with Contracts and Procurement to assess cost impacts of changes. Additional duties involve ensuring accurate cost data mapping between SAP and Cleopatra, closing completed contracts and purchase orders, and providing ad hoc data analysis and presentations. The Cost Engineer will also contribute to re-baselining activities, maintain basis of estimate documentation, support long-term planning and monthly reporting, and assist with annual cost risk analysis to evaluate contingency requirements. Interaction across multiple locations and teams, including engineering offices and yards, is expected to ensure smooth execution of cost control processes. Full familiarity with relevant procedures, workflows, and systems is essential to support continuous improvement of the cost engineering function.
