Project Manager

My client is currently seeking a Project Manager for their solar/BESS site in Arlington, Oregon. This will be an 8-month contract assignment to start with potential to extend. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years experience in project management, construction management or engineering or a related field; utility transmission, distribution, or generation experience highly preferred. Experience in utility scale solar and/or BESS projects. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, including effective negotiating and dispute resolution skills. PMP certification from a recognize institution and strong knowledge of the principles and practices of project management. Proficiency using tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or other Enterprise Management System Ability to travel 50%. PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification. Driver's License Preferred Qualifications A working Knowledge of safety laws, environmental laws, labor laws, construction law, contracts, claims avoidance, insurance, and permit compliance. Effective negotiating and dispute resolution skills. Experience in Front End Loading (FEL or FEED) Gated processes. Renewable industry experience and best practices. Experience with risk management. OSHA certification Proficiency using Primavera P6 and SAP.
