QA/QC Supervisor

Job Title: QA/QC Supervisor Duration: 12 months Schedule: 28x28 days rotation Location: Egypt This opportunity offers involvement in a major offshore fabrication project within the LNG and oil and gas sector, supporting quality control activities across structure fabrication works. The role is focused on welding, NDT, material inspection and construction quality, with responsibility for overseeing execution at fabrication yards and helping ensure compliance with approved specifications, ITPs and HSE requirements. This position will suit professionals who can provide strong technical oversight in a complex fabrication environment. Required Education: College degree Required Experience: 15+ years of experience working for consulting engineers or oil and gas exploration and production companies in similar positions Strong background in quality control within fabrication, including material, welding, NDE and coating activities Proven experience leading QC teams during project construction and fabrication execution Experience carrying out QC audits of construction yards related to material, welding, NDE and coating Experience within structure fabrication and pipeline or related construction code environments Required Skills: Strong technical knowledge of welding, NDT, structure fabrication and construction quality processes Familiarity with pipeline and structure codes including API 1104, DNVGL-ST-F101, ASME and AWS D1.1 Ability to physically oversee and monitor fabrication execution and report on technical matters Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal direction High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem identification and resolution Ability to contribute effectively within a team environment Fluent English Required Certifications: Valid welding inspector certificate such as CWIP or similar approved equivalent (Required) Preferred Qualifications: Valid NDE certification based on ISO or ASNT standards (Preferred) About Airswift: Airswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
