Purchaser Contract period: 09.09.2026 - 26.08.2028 Location: Stavanger Main tasks: Issue and follow-up on purchase orders with strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation Conduct market screening to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions Prepare inquiry documents for equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering Perform commercial evaluations of quotations Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed time-frame, cost, and quality Manage variation handling Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing Ensure all activities comply with our guidelines, work instructions, and procedures Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree Relevant subjects: Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering and similar Minimum3 years’ experience within supply chain management in Oil & Gas You are commercially aware You are professional and an independent team player You have strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English You are flexible and willing to adapt to changes You engage positively with others and demonstrate a high degree of collaboration skills You work in a structured and efficient manner, always in accordance with applicable guidelines Experience with SAP is an advantage A high degree of data discipline is preferred With over 90 years' combined experience, NES Fircroft (NES) is proud to be the world's leading engineering staffing provider spanning the Oil & Gas, Power & Renewables, Chemicals, Construction & Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Mining and Manufacturing sectors worldwide.
