What role you will play in our team
The Pricefx Configuration Engineer - Data & Analytics is responsible for supporting, configuring, and enhancing Pricefx capabilities across Analytics, Reporting, Data Management, and Revenue Management processes. The role partners closely with Sales & Marketing business stakeholders, architects, data platform teams, integration teams, and external vendors to ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of Pricefx solutions.
The position combines application support, analytics configuration, data analysis, troubleshooting, and integration support to enable accurate pricing insights, profitability analysis, and data-driven decision making across ExxonMobil's Revenue Management ecosystem. The successful candidate will develop expertise across both Pricefx Functional and Analytics capabilities
What you will do
Configure, develop, and maintain Pricefx solutions aligned with business, functional, technical, and analytical requirements.
Translate pricing, CPQ, Price Strategy & Setting (PSS), Incentives Management (IM), and analytics requirements into scalable Pricefx configurations and custom development objects.
Develop pricing logic, workflows, calculations, templates, dashboards, KPIs, reports, formulas, measures, and data views.
Analytics capabilities, including Data Analyzer, Datamarts, Data Sources, Data Feeds, Dashboards, and Reporting.
Configure and support Pricefx Analytics capabilities, including Data Analyzer, C&SI, dashboards, and reporting structures.
Design and maintain data models, dimensions, hierarchies, measures, aggregations, and analytical calculations.
Validate and reconcile data across multiple systems to ensure reporting accuracy and data consistency.
Optimize platform configurations, analytical solutions, and reporting performance for scalability and efficiency.
Perform unit testing, support end-to-end testing activities, troubleshoot defects, and resolve production issues.
Collaborate with business, architecture, integration, and platform teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
Support Agile delivery processes, including backlog management, sprint planning, and solution deployment.
Create and maintain technical, functional, and analytical documentation to support governance and knowledge transfer.
About you
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related discipline.
Strong SQL and data analysis skills with the ability to investigate, validate, reconcile, and interpret business data.
Experience with data modeling, relational databases, reporting, analytics, and data visualization concepts.
Experience supporting enterprise applications, business systems, or analytical platforms in a production environment.
Experience troubleshooting application, data, integration, and reporting issues using structured problem-solving approaches.
Understanding data integration concepts and experience working with ERP, CRM, or enterprise data platforms.
Knowledge of analytical data architectures, including data warehouses, OLTP, and OLAP concepts.
Understanding of pricing, revenue management, commercial processes, profitability analysis, or related business disciplines.
