Head Of Engineering Studies

Oversee engineering, design, quality assurance, leadership, and expertise in accordance with project deliverables and approved execution schedule. Direct the preparation and stewardship of engineering scope of work for engineering studies required for execution, advise and recommend design procedures, deliverables as required, to optimize project schedule to match restoration project schedule as much possible. Maintain close liaison with members of PMT Engineering teams and alignment with the Engineering Division Manager on project engineering needs, objectives, and requirements. Ensure execution of work is technically aligned and in compliance with LNG operations, policies, standards of business conduct and LNG Project Management System as applicable. Provide support to PMT in areas related to technical bid evaluations, qualifications, and experience of engineering companies; Ensure usage of appropriate design tools, including computer hardware and software; adherence with all project objectives, requirements, specifications, standards, procedures, execution plans and design verification processes. Assess and validate engineering contractors and third-party consultants (as applicable) capability in providing all contract documents, progress measurement and reporting and recommends additional technical support to address gaps. Facilitate engineering schedule and related milestones, provides data (study reports, narrative, charts, graphs, change management recommendations and recovery plans to address any schedule delays) for monthly progress and stewardship reporting.
