Senior IT Analyst

Airswift is searching for a Senior IT Analyst to join a leading international company in the energy sector in Georgetown, Guyana. The successful candidate will provide technical support, maintain IT infrastructure, and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of business-critical systems in a dynamic operational environment. Requirements Must be a Guyanese citizen Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 3 years of relevant IT experience Oil & Gas industry experience is preferred but not mandatory Fluent English communication skills Key Responsibilities Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for end users and IT infrastructure Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment, systems, and services Support user administration, identity and access management, VPN access, and security controls Assist with network, server, cloud, and telecommunications infrastructure Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, and service management records Support on-site activities, including cabling, equipment deployment, and infrastructure maintenance Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure service delivery and operational excellence Technical Skills Windows 11 administration, endpoint deployment, and patch management Active Directory / Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and VPN provisioning LAN/WAN networking, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, Wi-Fi, and network troubleshooting Windows Server administration and virtualization technologies (Hyper-V/VMware) Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams Basic Azure administration and cloud services support Cybersecurity best practices, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Experience with field support activities and infrastructure deployment is highly valued Preferred Certifications Microsoft Endpoint Administrator AZ-104 Azure Administrator ITIL v4 CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ CCNA or equivalent certifications
