Job Purpose The Technical Services Manager, Türkiye, Middle East & Pakistan (MEP) is responsible for strengthening distributor technical capabilities in Türkiye, Middle East & Pakistan by coaching, developing, and upskilling distributor teams in support of the Automotive, Heavy Duty, and Industrial business segments. The role drives technical excellence and customer value through the delivery of high-quality technical services, expert coaching, and capability-building initiatives. In addition, the role is responsible for supporting Direct OEM channel in Türkiye by providing expert technical advice, resolving complex technical challenges, fostering strategic customer relationships, and ensuring the consistent delivery of world-class technical support and service solutions for OEM customers and prospects. Key Accountabilities Acting and behaving according to Castrol Global Business Principles, Code of Conduct, HSE standards and policies. Upskilling distributor’s technical, sales & marketing staff through coaching, structured training programs (ex. TRE or TTT), knowledge transfer and consistent updating on Castrol’s portfolio changes & standard processes in all business segments (Automtive, heavy duty and industrial). Coaching distributors technical tags to deliver high‑impact case studies, value projects for their HD & Industrial accounts, and champion customer intimacy as a Castrol technology ambassador. Develop distributor’s technical tags capability to be able provide onsite inspections and field plant audits, delivering to technical services and providing customers with valuable findings, recommendations and solutions. Provide second level support for distributors through solving complex technical issues, manage complex field trials, pilot new innovative technical services and develop lubrication guidelines. Lead roll out of technical trainings programs addressing Castrol end consumers (Mechanics, Independent workshops (IWS), branded workshops (BIWS), Franchised Workshops (FWS). Support/promote Technology Conferences, products launch events, seminars & webinars. Actively collaborate with sales and marketing to shape & review products and service portfolio to fulfil business needs and follow market dynamics. Provide front line technical support to advise OEMs accounts and prospects, including problem solving, troubleshooting and application advice. Build and maintain senior‑level relationships with major OEMs customers. Demonstrate the solid understanding of OEMs specs and market requirements to identify portfolio gaps and lead internal communications with Technology deployment and R&D as needed. Actively collaborate with marketing on portfolio harmonisation process at OEM level, including smooth conversion of customers caused by product introductions and retirements. Liaise with marketing Portfolio Managers for product portfolio issues as appropriate. Offer innovative, customer‑centric solutions while applying sound commercial judgment. Communicate complex technical issues clearly and manage cross‑functional alignment. Foster innovation, resilience, and effective prioritization across multiple technical projects. Education & Experience University degree or equivalent experience (e.g. BSc, BEng) in engineering preferably Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Mechatronics 10-12 years of proven leadership in technical roles passionate about Automotive, industrial & heavy-duty sectors, ideally within the Turkish market At least 3 years of experience working within indirect channel environments, partnering with distributors to strengthen proficiencies, drive performance, and support business growth Proven expertise in Automotive and industrial equipment lubrication, reliability engineering and condition monitoring. Strong commercial acumen and indirect channel management with experience driving technical and process‑improvement initiatives. Demonstrated agility in technical or operational environments. Skills & Proficiencies Mastery in Automotive and industrial applications and Operations Mastery in Operational maintenance
