Working alongside experienced battery recovery specialists, you'll become the licensed authority on site for battery de-energisation, energy recovery and dismantling activities. You'll help establish best practices, develop safe operating procedures and mentor developing technicians as the business continues to grow. Key Responsibilities Safely assess, de-energise and dismantle end-of-life EV and battery energy storage systems. Develop and maintain safe work procedures, risk assessments and standard operating procedures. Lead battery recovery and diagnostics activities using specialised energy recovery equipment. Ensure compliance with Victorian electrical safety requirements and dangerous goods obligations. Champion best practice safety standards, including thermal runaway prevention, PPE compliance and emergency response procedures. Supervise, mentor and train trainees and operational staff to build technical capability across the team. Support continuous improvement initiatives across safety, productivity and operational performance. Act as the key electrical authority within the facility.
