Inspection - QC II Do you enjoy being part of a successful team? Would you like to take ownership of a team delivering service to our customers? Partner with the best Non-Destructive Testing inspections to assess the defects, testing & reporting the inspection data. Essential Functions (Responsibilities): · Perform Non-Destructive Testing inspections including but not limited to Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI), Red-dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI), and UT Inspection, and NDT Report generation. · Support Inspection activities include including but not limited to Receiving, PN / SM recording, Visual, dimension and report the inspection data and Report. · Support Assembly (In-Process) & final acceptance inspections and report the inspection data of components as per established inspection criteria on Gas Turbine Components & Rotors, Centrifugal compressor Rotor & Steam Turbine Rotor. · Perform Visual, dimensional & other inspection as per drawing / specifications requirements. · Raise NCR and reject Material disposition cases of nonconforming product. · Co-ordinate with production personnel for control of nonconforming product, Identify, document and segregate it in holding area until resolution of non-conformity. · Perform Inspection & prepare inspection reports for non-conformance product i.e. NCR and Hold tag after inspection. · Actively participate in Root cause analysis for Identification of Root Cause and CAPA actions · Conducts periodic inspection/calibration of all measuring instruments and testing equipment, and ensures calibrations are current and conform to all applicable BH Standards and regulations. · Assures that required preliminary, progressive, and final inspections are properly performed, and that proper inspection records, reports and forms are properly executed prior to releasing the product. · Maintain a clean work area and contribute towards overall housekeeping efforts and other duties as needed · Updates digital shop systems related to assigned work (Digital Work Order, Time Vouchering, Operation completion) · Ensure the work area is compliance with HSE requirement · Full compliance with BH Policies / Procedures Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: · Diploma in Engineering or High School Certificate and related experience. · Five years’ experience of Inspection in Gas turbine repair Shop / Service organization. · ASNT Level II in NDT methods (PT, UT & RT) · Capable to interpret engineering drawings. · Understands and use Inspection, measuring & test equipment’s Desired Characteristics: · Self-starter, able to work with limited supervision. · Good communication skills · Knowledge of MS office · Problem solving and Proactive approach mind set. · Fluent written and spoken English Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
