KBR is seeking a highly motivated Senior Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Systems Configuration Manager to the US Space Force, Space Systems Command, Acquisition Delta - Space Domain Awareness As a Senior SDA Systems Configuration Manager, you will report directly to the Government Program Manager and provide Advisory and Assistance Services across a wide range of Configuration Management tasks across the SDA enterprise portfolio of sensor and command and control (C2) systems. Your Advisory Services to the Government include developing and evaluating processes and tools to track and ensure integrity of the technical baseline for multiple weapon systems. Primary responsibilities include: Provide CM of all relevant program artifacts / acquisition documentation Review and analyze the Development/Sustainment Contractor’s CM program and data deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Manage and support Configuration Control Board (CCB) / review board processes for Program Office, including planning, minutes, and actions. Assist the Government in developing and administering configuration management plans; maintaining design traceability and integrity; convening and managing change boards; and preparing for and attending major events such as, but not limited to, TIMs, PDRs, CDRs, PCAs, FCAs, and CCBs. Participate in cross-functional change control boards to evaluate proposed changes. Review and analyze proposed changes to ensure operational and sustainment capabilities are not adversely affected by the changes. Support Engineering Assessments and prepare for, conduct, and/or support major audits such as Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs). Record and maintain assessment and audit findings, minutes, and action items. Review, report, and analyze the Development/Sustainment Contractor’s data/item delivery status and conformance to CDRL requirements. Work closely with program management, systems engineers, and product support specialists in an integrated product team environment. Maintain design traceability and integrity. Manage configurations of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and plan/conduct design audits. The contractor must have skills and experience necessary to work closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, and design engineers in an integrated product team environment. Maintain a variety of electronic files and websites utilizing web-based applications. Track program Deficiency Reports (DRs) Ensure integrity of the baseline including major releases, minor releases, patches, and software maintenance. Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations upon government direction. Other duties as required/requested by the Government and the contract. Required Qualifications: An active DoD Top Secret clearance, with SCI eligibility. 12 years of directly relevant experience with proper certifications, 8 of which must be in the DoD, OR, BA/BS degree and 5 years of experience in Configuration Management or Configuration Control, 3 of which must be in the DoD, OR,MA/MS degree and 3 years of experience in Configuration Management or Configuration Control, 2 of which must be in the DoD. Experience developing Configuration Management processes to establish hardware and software baselines for complex systems. Experience using Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and databases to maintain hardware and software baselines for complex systems. An in-depth understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the Change Control Board, and change control documentation. Configuration Management experience within the Department of Defense. Experience performing HW and SW configuration audits. Experience performing the technical administrative activities necessary to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labeling. An in-depth understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the Change Control Board, and change control documentation. Experience developing briefings for management. Understanding of all phases of the software development life cycle. Ability to enter and manipulate data in a database. Desired Qualifications: B.S. in related field. 5+ years working DoD satellite operations training. Certified DoD trainer specialized in space systems. Microsoft Suite to include Access and Excel. Work Environment: Location: On site / Hybrid Travel Requirements: Minimal Working Hours: Standard, 40 hours per week (Full-time) Compensation: For Colorado only, the salary range for this position is approximately $110,000 - $120, 000.
