The Role
The Lead Materials and Corrosion Engineer
will lead the delivery of materials engineering services to the internal Wood business units and to Wood’s external client base. This role is primarily based in Wood offices but may also require on-site support, both onshore and offshore.

Job Objective
The Lead Engineer - Corrosion & Materials will lead the delivery of corrosion and materials engineering consultancy services to internal Wood business units and external clients across the energy sector. The role is primarily based in the UAE but may require occasional support at client facilities both onshore and offshore.
The role is responsible for the delivery of technical consultancy services covering corrosion management, material selection, coatings, welding and metallurgy, integrity assessments and cathodic protection. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership on projects, support business growth initiatives, mentor junior engineers and act as a key interface with clients to ensure high-quality, value-adding solutions are delivered safely and efficiently.
