Hiring: Head of SHES (Safety, Health, Environment & Security) 📍 Location: Qatar 🌍 Rotation: 85% Onshore / 15% Offshore 🔄 Rotation: 12 Weeks ON / 2 Weeks OFF 📠Work Schedule: 6 Days per Week ⏰ Working Hours: 8-10 Hours per Day 🏢 Industry: Oil & Gas / Major Projects / EPC We are seeking an experienced Head of SHES to provide strategic leadership across a portfolio of major onshore and offshore Oil & Gas projects. This role will be responsible for driving safety excellence, risk management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across large-scale EPC, installation, commissioning, startup, and handover activities. Key Responsibilities ✅ Lead the development and implementation of SHES strategies aligned with corporate objectives and international best practices. ✅ Provide strategic SHES leadership throughout FEED, EPC, offshore installation, commissioning, startup, and project handover phases. ✅ Drive governance, KPI management, performance reviews, and accountability across multiple projects. ✅ Analyze portfolio-wide SHES performance and provide executive-level insights to support decision-making. ✅ Direct performance dashboards, executive reporting systems, and governance metrics. ✅ Champion Human Performance, Safety Leadership, and Safety Culture initiatives. ✅ Maintain integrated performance management frameworks utilizing KPIs, assurance findings, lessons learned, and predictive indicators. ✅ Support digital transformation and innovation initiatives through analytics, technology, and data-driven performance management. ✅ Oversee critical risk management programs including: Major Accident Hazards (MAH) Marine Operations Heavy Lifting Activities SIMOPS Contractor Management Life Saving Rules Compliance Requirements Education 🎓 Bachelor's Degree in: Safety Health Environmental Sciences Security Engineering Related Discipline Experience ✔ Minimum 10 years of SHES experience within the Oil & Gas industry. ✔ Minimum 2 years in a supervisory, leadership, or oversight role. ✔ Experience supporting Contractors, Service Companies, or Major Operators. ✔ Proven experience within large-scale operating organizations involving Projects, Operations, or Subsurface environments. Technical Skills ✔ Strong knowledge of SHES management systems and industry standards. ✔ Experience managing high-risk project environments involving offshore and onshore operations. ✔ Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. ✔ Strong reporting, governance, and stakeholder management capabilities. ✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical business applications.
