Electrician – Manufacturing / Production
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Electrician
to join our production facility team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems, with hands-on experience in conduit installation, wiring, troubleshooting, and supporting automated manufacturing processes.
This is a
long-term contract opportunity

This role is critical to ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our electrical infrastructure and production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing/production environment
Run and bend conduit, including
EMT and rigid conduit
, and pull wire in accordance with NEC standards
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues involving motors, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and other production equipment
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery
Assist with automated manufacturing processes and electrical controls
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable safety regulations and electrical codes
Work closely with maintenance and production teams to minimize equipment downtime and improve system reliability
Document completed work and maintain accurate maintenance records
Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in electrical technology is preferred
3–5+ years of experience as an electrician
, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including
3-phase power, motor controls, and automation
Proven ability to bend and install conduit, including EMT and rigid conduit
Experience with wire pulling, panel wiring, and electrical installations
Familiarity with
PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and automated equipment
is a plus
Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently as well as effectively with a team
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to
50 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work for extended periods
Ability to work from ladders and lifts
Ability to work in confined spaces when necessary
Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including
heat, noise, and dust
