Project Engineer Capitial Projects

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a major industrial project in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the Build Project Manager and site delivery team on a significant capital project within a live operating facility. The role will be responsible for coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality, schedule and cost outcomes. Support the delivery of a major meal storage warehouse and other capital projects across the Newcastle site. Coordinate engineering, design reviews, RFIs, technical queries and contractor interfaces. Support procurement, technical evaluations, contractor clarifications and change management. Coordinate construction planning, contractor activities, site access and work fronts. Track project risks, issues, schedule, costs, changes and corrective actions. Support commissioning, operational readiness, handover, punch lists and project close-out. Work closely with operations, engineering, maintenance, EHS, quality, procurement, contractors and consultants.
