Environmental/ Regulatory Technician II

We are seeking an Environmental / Regulatory Technician II to support environmental compliance and regulatory activities on a major project site. This role will serve as a key liaison between project teams, contractors, and regulatory stakeholders, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, permit requirements, and company policies throughout project execution. Key Responsibilities Support environmental and regulatory compliance programs and project initiatives. Monitor and track permits, licenses, approvals, and compliance requirements. Coordinate with project teams and contractors to ensure environmental standards are implemented effectively. Conduct site inspections and assessments to verify compliance and identify improvement opportunities. Assist with environmental management plans, waste management plans, spill response plans, and related documentation. Investigate and report compliance issues, incidents, and corrective actions. Prepare environmental performance reports and regulatory documentation. Support environmental training, awareness programs, and communication between field and project teams. Ensure contractor compliance with environmental and regulatory obligations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related field. Previous experience in environmental, regulatory, compliance, construction, energy, or industrial projects. Strong coordination, communication, and contractor management skills. Experience with environmental permits, compliance monitoring, and regulatory reporting. Proficiency with computer systems and standard business software. Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, mining, or other extractive industry projects. Knowledge of project financing requirements and regulatory frameworks. Familiarity with environmental management systems and compliance programs. #LI-LD1
