Job Summary At ConocoPhillips the Lower 48 segment consists of operations located in the 48 contiguous U.S. states, with a portfolio mainly consisting of low cost of supply, short cycle time, resource-rich unconventional plays and commercial operations. The majority of our acreage is unconventional. Based on 2025 production volumes, the Lower 48 is our largest segment and contributed 67 percent of our consolidated liquids production and 74 percent of our consolidated natural gas production. In 2025, net production averaged 1,484 MBOED. Position Overview The Operations Engineering Analyst turns complex operational data into clear insights that improve safety, reliability, and performance across Permian Production Operations. In practice, that means finding the data, building and maintaining the dashboards, visualizations, analytics tools, and applications leaders rely on, and adapting quickly as systems, priorities, and questions change. Your responsibilities may include: Operational Insight Retrieve data directly from source systems and the data warehouse, including writing and tuning your own queries Build and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to track production, downtime, efficiency, and operational trends Translate data findings into clear insights that support day-to-day and long-term operational decisions Quality & Integration Improve data accuracy, consistency, and usability across operational datasets Support smooth data flow between systems, field data capture platforms, and internal reporting tools Collaboration & Support Partner with Operations, Engineering, HSE, Supply Chain, IT, and field teams to understand needs and deliver practical solutions Help strengthen digital workflows and analytics capabilities across the organization Support rollout processes for tools and dashboards, including education and support of end users Help with the administration of key applications, systems, and dashboards Continuous Improvement Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities that enhance operational performance Support projects focused on data integration, workflow improvements, and analytics modernization Continuously adapt to the ever-changing AI landscape and leverage AI tools to enhance the support provided to the organization Success Profile To thrive in this role, you’ll demonstrate the following Leadership Competencies: Drives Performance: Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals Partners Collaboratively: Builds strong relationships based on trust and seeks opportunities to collaborate across the organizational boundaries to support business goals Takes Accountability: Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by courageously dealing with important problems, holding others accountable, and standing up for what is right Basic Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States Experience integrating data from at least two source systems into a single dataset for reporting, analysis, or operational decision-making purposes Experience performing data preparation activities including data join
