Surf Umbilical Specialist

Position: SURF Umbilical Specialist Location: Oslo, Norway Start Date: October 2026 Contract Type: 12 month Renewable Contract Overview We are seeking an experienced SURF Umbilical Specialist to support a major offshore deepwater development project through FEED, tendering, engineering and installation phases. Key Responsibilities Lead umbilical engineering activities Support FEED and EPCI delivery Manage contractor engineering activities Review design documentation and technical submissions Support procurement, fabrication and installation Participate in offshore campaigns and commissioning Required Experience Master's Degree in Engineering Experience within project: at least 10 years in large offshore oil & gas SURF deep water projects and experience in umbilical design on an EPCI project. Good knowledge of relevant codes (DNV), and preferably of TotalEnergies General Specifications, procedures and policies. Previous experience with Major SURF Contractors during project execution for deep water project and follow-up of the engineering and procurement of umbilicals, Previous experience with Umbilical Manufacturing Supplier Positive, constructive, proactive and pragmatic mindset. Ability to work within large teams with other parties (Contractors, suppliers, HQ technical teams, etc). Previous experience within a complex and multicultural working environment.
