Wood is recruiting for a Senior Assistant Company Secretary, Subsidiary Governance to join our Corporate Secretariat team on a permanent basis. We are an experienced team with a fantastic culture and drive for excellence. We will ideally appoint a candidate on a hybrid-basis from either our London or Aberdeen office, but will also consider remote working from other locations in the UK.

The Role
We are looking for a forward thinking, engaging individual with excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management with the ability to oversee the corporate compliance of c.350 entities across the EMEA and APAC regions.
The role will line manage and support the personal and professional development of a team of four Subsidiary Governance Associates. Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills are critical, and you should be able to effectively engage a wide range of individuals at all levels across the business and Group Functions. This role is expected to make autonomous decisions relating to subsidiary compliance and governance matters in their area of responsibility and within legislative frameworks and company policy, seeking support from and escalating matters to the Head of Corporate Governance (HCG) as necessary.
