Customer Service Rep II

Job Title: Customer Service Rep II Duration: 12 months with possibility of extension Schedule: Rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required Location: Midland, TX This opportunity is based in a control room and call centre environment where the successful candidate will play a key part in monitoring alarms, handling incoming calls, coordinating dispatch activity, and maintaining accurate incident documentation. This position is well suited to someone who can remain composed in high-pressure situations, communicate clearly, and manage multiple operational priorities with accuracy and professionalism. Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Required Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to operate computers, telephones, radios, monitoring systems, and other communication equipment. Strong attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills. Ability to multitask and prioritise competing demands. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies or other high-pressure situations. Ability to follow written procedures, policies, and escalation protocols. Professional demeanour, strong customer service skills, and sound judgement when handling confidential information. Excellent communication, active listening, situational awareness, critical thinking, teamwork, and coordination. Incident documentation, stress management, computer proficiency, and professionalism in a fast-paced operational setting. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a call centre, control room, security operations centre, dispatch centre, customer service, or similar environment. Experience with alarm monitoring, access control, dispatch, or incident management systems. Experience using two-way radios or other professional communication systems. Previous emergency dispatch or security operations experience. Basic knowledge of incident reporting and emergency response procedures. CPR, First Aid, security, dispatch, or other relevant certifications (Preferred).
