We Are Hiring: Head of Contracts
We are seeking an experienced
Head of Contracts
to lead contract management activities for large-scale EPC projects within the Oil & Gas industry. This role is responsible for post-award contract administration, claims management, commercial risk mitigation, change order management, and leading a team of contract professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Lead all post-award contract management activities through project closeout.
✅ Manage contractor claims, disputes, variations, and change orders while protecting company interests.
✅ Develop and implement contract management strategies aligned with project objectives.
✅ Provide commercial and contractual guidance to project management teams.
✅ Support claims prevention, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation activities.
✅ Coordinate contractual communications and responses with EPC contractors.
✅ Work closely with Legal, Supply Chain, Procurement, Risk Management, and Project teams.
✅ Lead contract closeout processes in accordance with company procedures.
✅ Mentor and develop contract professionals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
✅ Support digital transformation and process improvement initiatives within project execution teams.
Minimum Qualifications
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or related discipline.
Mandatory Experience
✔ Minimum 10 years of experience managing contracts on large-scale EPC projects within Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, or Energy sectors.
✔ Proven experience in post-award contract administration for lump-sum EPC contracts.
✔ Strong background managing contractor claims, variations, and contract changes.
✔ Experience handling Extension of Time (EOT) and delay claims.
✔ Experience with commercial correspondence, contract drafting, and negotiations.
✔ Team leadership and stakeholder management experience.
