Finance Professional - Accounting Operations

Partner With the best: We are seeking a Finance Professional - Accounting Operations and you will be responsible for: Handling day-to-day costing requests, including closing activities, ensuring completion in accordance with timelines and established guidelines Preparing, documenting, and maintaining up-to-date processes for the accounting role Providing advice and support to the team Understanding applicable Policies, Enterprise Standards, SOPs, and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial and accounting services Using SAP and CFIN across various company codes, including regular analysis of general ledger accounts, and recommending improvements and corrective actions Implementing best practices within the Global Finance Organization and standard processes that align with global benchmarks Working closely with external and internal auditors to support the completion of all audits Analyzing and providing explanations for cost variances Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in General Accounting and Financial Reporting Have experience in a Shared Services environment and the Oil & Gas industry (an added advantage) Be familiar with ERP systems such as SAP Have knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures Have strong attention to detail and analytical skills Be detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills Be proficient in MS Office, with a focus on Excel, Macros, and PowerPoint Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
