Job Purpose As a Senior Rigid Pipeline Engineer, you will manage and coordinate a range of engineering and design activities across various project phases, including engineering studies, FEED work, tenders, and full-scale execution projects. The key role that would be undertaken by the Senior Rigid Pipeline Engineer is to act as the Rigid Lead (Sub-System Lead for Rigid and Geotech). In this capacity, you will coordinate all aspects of rigid pipeline engineering within a study or project, overseeing (or performing) engineering and design tasks, with engineering responsibility for the team performing calculations and analyses, generating design reports, drawings, procedures, and specification documents. Job Description Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure the technical integrity and punctuality of all designs. Generate and review engineering reports to ensure compliance with international standards and company guidelines. Interface with project teams, internal stakeholders, clients, and suppliers for seamless project execution. Develop technical specifications and provide engineering support for procurement and fabrication activities. Provide engineering input and support for the Installation and Construction team. Mitigate risks, manage schedules, and continuously improve design solutions. Coordinate engineering efforts from the Rigid and Geotech sub-system. Produce engineering reports and calculations to support different project phases. Verify and validate technical reports against international standards, codes, and internal guidelines. Participate (or lead) in the design review process of the various project deliverables from the Rigid and Geotech sub-subsystem. Ensure compliance with TechnipFMC Quality and HSE policies and procedures. Support the technical development and training of less experienced engineers within the team. You are meant for this job if: Qualifications and experiences MSc in Marine or Mechanical Engineering or a similar field. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with rigid pipeline engineering and/or engineering management from the offshore Oil and Gas industry or subsea sector. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience in leading engineering projects and teams. Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results. Understanding of SURF infrastructure is mandatory; understanding of SPS infrastructure is a bonus. Knowledge of FEA applications like Ansys/Abaqus is preferred. Knowledge of programming scripts (PowerBI, Python, VBA) is a bonus. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Inventor, DNV spreadsheets, MathCAD, and Orcaflex is highly valued. Full working proficiency in English; Norwegian is a bonus.
