Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop the Maintenance & Engineering team, including workforce planning, recruitment activities, performance management, and promoting a strong safety-first culture. Manage the department budget and drive cost-saving, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, internal procedures, and best engineering practices. Coordinate external contractors, technical service providers, audits, and safety-related training activities. Oversee the site's technical infrastructure, utility systems, refrigeration equipment, and other critical plant assets. Monitor maintenance KPIs, manage CMMS activities, and optimize spare parts stock levels. Ensure maximum equipment reliability through preventive and predictive maintenance programs, failure investigations, and corrective action plans. Participate in capital projects, plant upgrades, equipment installations, and modernization programs. Maintain technical documentation, engineering drawings, operating procedures, permit-to-work systems, and facility records. Promote compliance with quality, food safety, and operational excellence standards, addressing any deviations in a timely manner. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or another relevant technical discipline. Previous experience managing or supervising technical teams. At least 3 years of professional experience within Maintenance, Engineering, Manufacturing Support, or Technical Services functions. Strong knowledge of CMMS platforms and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methodologies such as the 5 Whys. Good command of English (B2-C1 level). Knowledge of CAD software and ability to interpret technical and engineering drawings. Electrical qualification/certification (SEP or equivalent). Valid driver's licence (Category B). Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with industrial refrigeration, ammonia systems, utilities, or other critical process infrastructure. Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance practices, TPM, Lean Maintenance, or similar continuous improvement methodologies. Technical knowledge of industrial automation, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, or process engineering environments.
