Specialist Geologist

Specialist Geologist FIFO Perth 15:13 Roster We are seeking an experienced Specialist Geologist to support a major exploration and resource development project. This role will lead drilling and field programs, deliver high-quality geological outcomes, and contribute to resource growth, project advancement and technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Plan and oversee drilling programs to support exploration and resource objectives. Manage geological data collection, interpretation and QA/QC processes. Contribute to geological modelling, exploration targeting and resource evaluation. Coordinate field activities and manage drilling contractors and service providers. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outcomes. Provide technical mentoring and support continuous improvement initiatives. About You Degree qualified in Geology, Earth Sciences or a related discipline. Demonstrated experience in exploration, resource development or mine geology. Proven capability in drill program planning and execution. Strong understanding of geological logging, sampling and data management. Experience with geological modelling, GIS and database systems. Ability to manage contractors, stakeholders and field-based programs. Technical Skills Experience with: Geological interpretation and exploration targeting Drill program design and execution Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS Pro or similar platforms Geological databases and data management Downhole geophysics and resource evaluation This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team and play a key role in advancing a significant exploration and resource development project.
