What role you will play in our team
As a Systems Product Advisor supporting Gas and Power Trading, you will be an integral member of the Trading Enablement organization, with a primary focus on the Allegro ETRM platform. You will partner closely with Trading, Commercial Operations, Market Risk, Finance, Accounting, Settlements, and IT to ensure Allegro supports day-to-day business activities, control requirements, and strategic enhancement initiatives across the Americas.
What you will do
Serve as a primary point of contact for Americas Gas and Power business users on Allegro ETRM process, data, and functional questions.
Provide subject matter expertise across the gas and power trade lifecycle, including deal entry, position reporting, exposures, mark-to-market, P&L, logistics, settlements, valuation, accounting, and operations.
Partner with Trading and IT to evaluate business needs, assess system impacts, and support delivery of Allegro enhancements.
Advise on system projects, process improvements, and major enhancement initiatives across the Americas.
Support master data maintenance and governance activities within Allegro and related systems.
Proactively identify opportunities to eliminate, simplify, automate, and standardize processes across the Allegro landscape.
Support testing for system upgrades, enhancement releases, regression cycles, and new functionality deployments.
Help diagnose production issues, coordinate resolution efforts, and ensure business impacts are clearly understood and communicated.
Support effective controls, documentation, and governance for business process and configuration changes.
Mentor and coach team members by sharing Allegro expertise, business process knowledge, and practical delivery experience.
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline, business, finance, economics, or a related field from a recognized university.
2 to 10 years of experience supporting or implementing Allegro ETRM, preferably in gas or power trading.
Strong understanding of the physical and financial trade lifecycle, including front, middle, and back-office processes.
Functional knowledge of Allegro configuration, trade capture, workflows, reporting, data management, and production support.
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into clear system, process, and data needs.
Strong issue analysis and resolution skills, with the ability to take ownership and drive issues to closure.
Experience supporting testing, user acceptance, system upgrades, and enhancement delivery.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with traders, schedulers, risk analysts, settlements, accounting, finance, and commercial operations teams.
Knowledge of gas and power markets, including physical logistics, pricing, nominations, valuation, and exposure management.
Experience with process controls, change management, production support, and operational risk management.
Familiarity with system interfaces, reporting tools, master data governance, and data quality processes.
Ability to operate effectively across business and technical teams.
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and support time-sensitive business needs.
Continuous improvement mindset, with a bias toward simplification, automation, and standardization.
