Job Purpose Are you our new Senior Buyer joining our experienced procurement team in Controls & Automation in Kongsberg, supporting manufacturing and projects? We seek a Senior buyer with experience to our Controls & Automation Procurement team, supporting Manufacturing and Projects in Kongsberg with scope from Electronics, Machining to Topside SCU projects. Your work will have a high focus and importance for the company. You are required to work well under pressure and cooperate with multiple stakeholders in an international environment with highly capable and professional coworkers. Job Description Fulfills strategic inquiring and purchasing activities within time and budget, expedites bids and supplier negotiatio ns Communicate order status with internal stakeholders, and ensure accuracy of system data. Capable of resolving commercial issues, and have advanced skills to manage purchase orders of high value and complexity Drive mitigation processes towards supplier as required Work closely with Sourcing, Engineering and Project Teams in execution issues You are meant for this job if you have: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, with minimum of at least 4 years' Experience in Procurement roles. Experience can compensate for lack of formal competency Highly developed analytic, problem-solving skills and solution oriented Proficiency in communication and negotiations, and capable of professionally chairing internal and external meetings. Ability to identify process weaknesses and make recommendations to processes and workflow improvements to reduce costs and/or increase quality and /or efficiency Knowledge of SAP and other applicable business systems Be committed and proactive, have a strong sense of collaboration, able to make decisions and learn from every situation Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in country without sponsorship Your Future at TechnipFMC As an international company, we provide you with great opportunities for internal growth like in almost no other company on the global market.
